Apex Trailer is looking for quality candidates for career opportunities! Currently we are hiring for:

Semi-Trailer Mechanics

This position is responsible for servicing and repairing equipment in a safe and cost efficient manner. The technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, servicing, and repairing of trailers, containers, chassis and other equipment. Technicians must be able to complete all fleet maintenance processes and ensure that units meet Apex specifications at all times.

  • Experience in semi-trailer maintenance and repair and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • DOT certified in FHWA Inspections & Air Brakes. (Preferred)
  • Welding experience. (Preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Must have own basic tools.

Tank Trailer Mechanics

  • Experience in tank trailer maintenance and repair and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Certifications Preferred)
  • DOT certified in FHWA Inspections & Air Brakes. (Preferred)
  • Welding experience. (Preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Must have own basic tools.

Welders

  • Select and lay out materials to be cut or joined. (Semi-trailer experience preferred)
  • Follow engineering instructions and drawings.
  • Welding experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Inspect and test cuts and joints, using precision measuring instruments.
  • Must have own basic tools.

Fabricators

  • Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications using jigs, welding torches and hand tools.
  • Fabricate, position, align, and fit parts of structural metal products.
  • Select and lay out materials to be cut or joined.
  • Welding experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Inspect and test cuts and joints, using precision measuring instruments.
  • Must have own basic tools.

Class A CDL Drivers

  • Driver's responsibilities involve delivery and pick-up, reporting, operations, customer service, safety and maintenance and other duties as assigned by management.
  • Driver will maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the Company and presents a favorable image for customers.

All Hourly and Salary Employees pay is based on Job Experience
